TOPIC: THEY GAVE ME A COSTLY GIFT: TIME!

On one of my birthdays years ago (over 25 years ago), some of my friends (very few) and loved ones came to see me to share their gifts and time with me (now on my birthdays I am hardly available because I am busy writing). Now back to my story! Of all that they brought to me, what I valued most was the time that they spent with me and we shared together. Yes!

#TIME! Fortunately, even the seemingly poor people have it to share. These friends could have sent me gifts and cards with excuses that they were busy. Many could have done many useful things with their time, but they decided to share it with me. They gave me a day, an hour, some minutes of their lives. I deeply appreciated them.This is exactly the kind of thing we should be doing for each other often, as the opportunity arises AND IF YOU CAN.

Often times, we find ourselves preoccupied with some selfish desires to satisfy. Inasmuch as I appreciated the time they shared with me, I couldn’t place any monetary value on it. It was and it’s still invaluable to me especially now that it is difficult to even see me in social ceremonies. Share a moment with someone today, this week and this year 2023 and be an encouragement to someone (today’s scriptures are just on point). BE KIND AND LOADED WITH BOWELS OF MERCY!

 

Visit the orphanages! Visit those in the hospitals! Visit the prisons! You’ll never know how much you will be doing for the Lord. Your pastor that keeps visiting/calling you may be the one that needs your visitation/phone call or WhatApp message this week. Be wise and discerning as you show that you care! Sow your time this week and do it this year! KINDNESS and showing MERCY are secrets of turning your past INSULTS to RESULTS! Note:
