TOPIC: THE MISSOURI ACCOUNTANT: BE YOURSELF

Continued from yesterday’s devotional! “I hugged him tightly to give him some heat. I rubbed his arms, his legs, his face, his neck. I begged him to try to be alive. I encouraged him. All night long, I kept this man warm this way. I was tired and freezing cold myself. My fingers were numb, but I didn’t stop rubbing heat into that old man’s body. Hours and hours went by. Finally, morning came and the sun began to shine. I looked around to see other people. To my horror, all I could see were frozen bodies.

All I could hear was deadly silence. Nobody else in that cabin was alive. That freezing night killed them all. They died from the cold. Only two people survived: the old man and me. The old man survived because I kept him warm… and I survived because I was warming him.” Wow! The Holy Ghost wants you to learn the secret of survival on this planet: When you warm other people’s hearts, you will remain warm yourself.

When you support, encourage, and inspire others, then you will discover support, encouragement, and inspiration in your own life as well. Wow! Lord, help me! Dear child of God, indeed, that is the secret of survival on this planet! Today’s scripture Verses1-2 says: “Now we who are strong have an obligation to bear the weaknesses of those without strength, and not to please ourselves. Each one of us must please his neighbor for his good, to build him up.” That should be your cry in 2023!

Wow! ONLY TWO PEOPLE SURVIVED because one of them helped the other to be warm. Never stop doing little things for others this year! Sometimes those little things occupy the biggest part of their hearts! Close with Charles Spurgeon: “A good character is the best tombstone. Those who loved you and were helped by you will remember you when ‘forget-me-nots’ have withered. Carve your name on hearts, not on marble.” Amazing! May 2023 bring you help that you never had since you were born! Carve your name on Marble! Trust the Lord! Hold on and hold out!

4. Lord, in my pain and cold, help me to help others and keep them warm/strong through the cold and battles of this earth.
5. Lord, ACCELERATE ME! ACCELERATE my destiny! ACCELERATE MY INSULT TO RESULT STORY in Jesus name (Pray it seriously for 3 days).
6. Pray for others today and pray for Israel – Jerusalem.
7. Pray about today seriously and any other issue(s) affecting your peace.
