TOPIC: I SHALL BE REMEMBERED AS A SOLUTION!
It was Helen Keller who wrote: “The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart.” No wonder today’s scripture says in Vs. 39 – “Then Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and shewing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was with them.” Instead of showing Peter the COFFIN of DORCAS, they were showing him the the coats and garments which Dorcas had made.
Oh, what a life she lived! Since nobody will live on this earth forever, use today’s devotional to ask yourself this question: “WHAT WILL I BE REMEMBERED FOR WHEN MY EXIT TIME COMES? Will you be remembered for the SOLUTIONS you brought to other lives or for the problems you created? I see 12 church users who are stealing their local church monies! The LORD says you must repent, otherwise, you will carry the troubles of those who sowed such seeds.
I see 15 people using today’s devotional who are refusing to forgive others and are very bitter! I am being shown 37 souls who are gossipers! Stop gossiping about that pastor! Pray for him/her otherwise, the LORD says He will “gossip” about you.
Why not start a club for widows? Why not help single parents? Why not help a child’s education? You can be used to pay someone’s rent and prevent their being homeless! Pay someone’s medical bills and visit the prisoners! Give them ODM copies! As 2022 ends and 2023 begins, determine to be an uncommon SOLUTION despite your own battles.
I see the LORD surprising you for good! Never forget what Dillon Burroughs penned: “Live today the way you want to be remembered tomorrow.” Peace!
