TOPIC: WINNERS KNOW THE POWER OF SMALL THINGS!
Welcome to today’s devotional! Rahab depended upon the promise of the spies for her preservation. To tie the scarlet line in the window was a very trivial act in itself, but her destiny depended on it. Come, my soul, is there not here a lesson for thee? Yes, the Holy Ghost is telling a user of today’s devotional to pay attention to little details as the first half of 2023 rolls on. Thank God for the big things, but always remember that what we call little things are merely the beginning; the embryo of the great things.
Most revolutions in history started as very small movements often ignored by dictators! The Bible says the voice of God is as a great thunder upon many waters (Ps. 29:3), but was it not the still small voice that spoke to Elijah in his crucial hour of need? Listen: If the big things have not been shown to thee so far this year, appreciate God for the little things you have been shown, speaking to you through the little testimonies or little mercies! No wonder Odysseus Elytis wrote: “You’ll come to learn a great deal if you study the Insignificant in depth.” Also, sometimes, God will not give you any great instruction or show you any great revelation, until you have paid attention to (obey) the little instructions He has given you in the past!
The great Sir Winston Churchill also wrote: “All the great things are simple, and many can be expressed in a single word: freedom; justice; honour; duty; mercy; hope.” True, little words such as: “I love you,” “Thank you,” “I am sorry,” “Please,” etc, can be all the breakthrough keys you have been waiting for! Close with Bruce Barton: “Sometimes when I consider what tremendous consequences come from little things, I am tempted to think there are no little things.” Rahab knew there were no little things with God and in this year 2023, don’t forget this million-dollar secret of winners! Remember the month of June is the ODM ANNUAL month of MERCY!

4. Lord, what are You saying to me through little things?
5. Pray about today as led.
