TOPIC: THE TWO HELICOPTERS: FIGHT DEMOTION THIS YEAR!
Years ago, two Indian military helicopters crashed near India’s border, Tibet. The first one crashed and none of the four people on board were killed. The other helicopter was ordered to locate the crashed helicopter in the region of Loboni Spit, located at a height of 5.151 meters when it also crashed, but killed all its occupants on board. What an irony!
A case of a saviour that could not save itself! As your year progresses, determine to work and keep growing spiritually, financially, etc. Our 2nd text today, talks about people who after experiencing a period of bliss or promotion in life and ministry, begin to slide backwards. You must resist this and fight it. It can happen in any area of life and to any unwatchful person. It happened to Adam and Eve, Gehazi, Demas, Samson, King Saul and Hitler the great, etc.
There were fire-brand pastors who are now fire-bound (moving towards hell)! There were rich men who are now weeping men! May your prosperity not end in the valley of adversity! May those behind you today not OVERTAKE you. May you not help others and be stranded at the end. May the best of your yesterday be the least of your future! May your life and ministry become the cemetery of glory hunters! May every spiritual barbing saloon planning to cut your hair (your glory) become an ancient ruin of shame by fire!
When they cut Samson’s hair, it was demotion in action! In 2023, your stolen hair shall be returned! 1. In your words, pray about today’s devotional as led now.
2. You spiritual barbing saloons, catch fire today in Jesus name.
3. Samson’s glory was his hair. Now I command every plan to cut my hair (my glory) in 2023, scatter now in Jesus name.
4. I shall not go down this year. I shall not see demotion (Pray well).
5. Holy Ghost, baptize me with uncommon promotion and let my life, family and and career become an evidence that Jehovah indeed is God in Jesus name.
6. Pray for national/very popular ministers of the Gospel today.
7. Pray and declare fasts regularly against the spirit of demotion for you and your family this year in Jesus name.
8. Pray about today generally as led now.
