TOPIC: – THE GREAT PADEREWSKI: NEVER, EVER QUIT!
Amother, wishing to encourage her son’s progress at the piano, bought tickets to a performance by the great Polish pianist, IGNACE PADEREWSKI. When the evening arrived, they found their seats near the front of the concert hall and eyed the majestic Steinway grand piano waiting on the stage.
Soon the mother found a friend to talk to, and the boy slipped away. At eight o’clock, the lights in the auditorium began to dim, the spotlights came on, and only then did they notice the boy – up on the piano bench, innocently picking out “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star.” His mother gasped in shock and embarassment but, before she could retrieve her son, the master himself, Mr. PADEREWSKI, appeared on the stage and quickly moved to the keyboard.
He whispered gently to the boy, “Don’t quit. Keep playing.” Leaning over, Paderewski reached down with his left hand and began filling in the bass part. Soon his right arm reached around the other side and improvised a delightful obligato (Italian word meaning: “obligatory” – compulsory).
In music, this means an essential part that must not be omitted! Together, the old master and the young novice held the crowd mesmerized with their blended and beautiful music. Oh, amazing Ignace PADEREWSKI – the great musical star and encourager! But the Holy Ghost wants you to know that THERE IS ONE GREATER THAN THE GREAT PADEREWSKI.
He is the LORD HIMSELF! He is saying to you today: DO NOT QUIT. No matter how this year has been, never forget that you are not alone! The LORD is on the keyboard of life.
His Fingers will introduce a beautiful melody that will marvel the world. No matter your mess and failure, as long as you refuse to quit, “Jehovah Overdo” – THE ENCOURAGER, will give you success at last that is beyond human understanding.
In line with today’s word, tribulations, distress, persecutions, famine, nakedness, peril or sword, etc, will not separate you from THE LOVE OF GOD (success and special favour) – Romans 8:35.
Even when human beings have slaughtered you with their tongues, heaven will remind them that you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37)! Lift up your hands and shout 7 halleluiah now!
