TOPIC: – THE THREE MEN AND THE PEBBLES!
Welcome! There’s an old legend about three men who were crossing a desert on horseback at night.
As they approached a dry creek bed, they heard a voice commanding them to dismount, pick up some pebbles, put them in their pockets, and not look at them till the next morning.
The men were promised that if they obeyed, they would be both glad and sad.
They mounted their horses and went on their way.
As the first streaks of dawn began to spread across the sky, the men reached into their pockets to pull out the pebbles.
To their great surprise, they had been transformed into diamonds, rubies, and other precious gems. Oh! They were happy that they had picked up as many pebbles as they did, but sorry — so sorry — that they had not collected more.
Oh! Did you know that this will be the story of millions when they get to heaven? These three men had the opportunity to have carried so many pebbles on horseback, instead they just picked a few.
The Holy Ghost wants you to know that many will regret in heaven that they would have done more for God on earth.
The mansions, diamond and rubies in heaven are reserved for those who genuinely served God on earth without reservations.
Some believers will regret that they are gatemen, housekeepers and errand boys/girls in heaven because they did not lay up for themselves treasures in heaven while on earth (See Vs. 2 & Vs. 3 of today’s scripture!).
REPENT TODAY AND VOW TO DO MORE! Note: The crowns we wear in heaven must first be worn on earth! Do more for the kingdom to avoid regrets! Pray now! 4. Abba Father, SET ME ON A NEW FIRE FOR YOU! My heart will not be filled with regret in heaven for the things I did not do for Your kingdom on earth.
5. Pray about today and pray again for NEW FIRE concerning your work for God today!
