TOPIC: – DON’T PUT GOD INTO A BOX!-1
From Verse 6 of today’s scripture, “He turned the sea into dry land: they went through the flood on foot: there did we rejoice in Him.” Remember that the God who WALKED UPON THE SEA in Mark 6: 45-56, IS THE SAME GOD WHO DECIDED TO DRY UP THE SEA in Exodus. HE could have gotten Himself tied down TO JUST ONE METHOD OF DRYING UP SEAS all the time! The Holy Ghost wants you to know that God has a zillion (uncountable) ways to get you to your Promised Land; your land of rejoicing.
He does not want you to TIE HIM DOWN TO ONE METHOD, ONE PERSON, ONE WAY, etc. Do you know that God can use someone to bless you today and then block that person’s heart against you for a season? Yes! He can! His reason for doing that is to make sure YOU MAKE NOBODY YOUR IDOL! He wants to make sure NOBODY gossips about you and boasts with you; that without them you cannot survive! God does not want people to use your name to BOAST that they made you who you are!
Did Abraham not reject a gift from a rich king? Abraham wanted to make sure that THE KING OF SALEM DID NOT USE HIM FOR POLITICAL GAIN by BOASTING that HE MADE HIM RICH! Stop imagining how God will take you to your TESTIMONY LAND. He is the God that can turn the sea into a DRY LAND and turn the dry land into a SEA! God made sure that the BROOK OF ELIJAH DRIED UP so that HE DID NOT DEPEND ON THE BROOK. God did not want ELIJAH to see the BROOK or the RAVEN as His source! God can cut people off your life! He can close doors and open new ones. So no matter how your relationships have been, LOOK TO GOD AND TRUST HIM! God is working! 1. In your own words, pray about today’s word as led now.
2. Father, I repent from ways in which I have murmured OR PUT YOU IN A BOX in the past! Evil spies I am too HOT for you!
3. God did not want ELIJAH to see the BROOK or the RAVEN as His source! Lord, if You want, dry the brook or stop the RAVEN! I shall know no shame! Pray for the August 13th day!
4. God can cut people off your life for reasons known to HIM! God can close doors and open new ones! Lord, OPERATE ME and do WHAT ONLY YOU CAN DO concerning my destiny!
5. Pray in Tongues seriously as led now.
6. Pray about today and cancel MISTAKES OF ‘HAD-I-KNOWN.’
