TOPIC: LORD, MAKE ME A KINGDOM INFLUENCER! – 2
Welcome! As a young or older person, do not allow peer or age group pressure to blow you away from your destiny track. Since I gave my life to Jesus in 1976, my life has been positively influenced by the gospel and by the kind of people I have around me. I had the desire to live under the influence of Christ, and I also wanted to be an influencer to others by pointing them to the Saviour.
So, I began to print tracts with my pocket money and also engaged in inter-village evangelism as a young boy in 1976. This is what today’s 2nd scripture Vs. 6 is saying! Hear the great words of Bill Crowder: “Salt and Light are influential factors in a dark and corrupt world, and Christ, who is the Light of the world, calls us to be lights of influence as well. The Master who modelled perfect purity calls us to be Salt that adds flavor and prevents corruption.
May we not only be influenced by Christ but also be influencers for Christ in a needy world.” Close with this all-time prayer by Sper: “Lord, let me be a Shining Light in all I say and do, That Your great love displayed in me may lead someone to You.” Hear Mother Teresa – “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.” SHINE FOR JESUS IN YOUR LITTLE CORNER!
Close with Dietrich Bonhoeffer: “Your life as a Christian should make non-believers question their disbelief in God.” BE AN INFLUENCER! Pray now! 3. Holy Ghost, shake away any bad influence in my life, family and ministry (Pray it seriously)!
4. Lord, I receive GRACE TO BE AN INFLUENCER OF MY GENERATION for good (Pray it seriously).
5. Let the beauty of Jesus be seen in me daily as I go out! Let men see me and become hungry for the CHRIST IN ME!
6. I command the SALT/LIGHT potential in me to come forth by fire in Jesus name.
7. Pray about today now as led.
