TOPIC: THE JOURNEY TO YOUR WEALTHY PLACE!
Psalm 66:12 says: “Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but Thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.” God has a WINNING FORMULA: THE WAY TO THE THRONE IS VIA THE CROSS! When God leads you via the wilderness or through the fire or INSULTS FROM MEN, His aim is to take you to your WEALTHY PLACE (TESTIMONY PLACE)! That is, you must NEVER QUIT trusting Him even when you don’t understand! Winners never quit! Quitters never win!
God can pass you through the WATER and DANGEROUS WAVES OF LIFE but He will make sure you are NEVER CONSUMED! As I write this at 3.30am, be encouraged by William Feather: “Success seems to be largely a matter of hanging on after others have let go.” Never forget Jack Ma – the richest man in China: “Never give up. Today is hard, tomorrow will be worse, but the day after tomorrow will be sunshine.” Our own Barack Obama quipped: “The future rewards those who press on. I don’t have time to feel sorry for myself. I don’t have time to complain. I’m going to press on.” Did he not rule America? Ah! You are NEXT!
Close with a man who went through the DESERT, THE FIRE and through the STORMY WATERS of life; Dr Stephen Hawking (He was pitiable! He was on a wheelchair and from there, he became one of the greatest scientists on earth)! He said: “Remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see and wonder about what makes the Universe exist. Be curious. And however difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at.
It matters that you don’t just give up.” Ah! I feel like jumping from this writing table! Wow! Oh, open your mouth and declare 21 times now: “My life, family and ministry victory/success on planet earth are NOT NEGOTIABLE. I shall dwell in my WEALTHY PLACE – TESTIMONY PLACE by fire!” Pray now! 1. In your own words, pray about today’s word as led now.
2. Lord, if You pass me through the water and the fire, I shall not quit! I receive GRACE to look to You in all stormy battles! You are too faithful to fail. I shall hang on to You because what You cannot do cannot be done!
3. Lord, when men ride over my head, when men insult me, when men
mock Your glory in me, DOATHING IN MY LIFE THAT WILL MAKE EARS TO TINGLE THIS YEAR (pray it seriously).
4. Lord, turn me into an empire of Your wonders. Let men see me and ask: “HOW DID IT HAPPEN?” (Pray it very, very well).
