I walked into the room and nobody seemed to mind whether I entered the place. I saw scores of people, all of them glued to their seats with their books in front of them. A number of them were looking up references, while others were flipping through ques-tions of past years. Who were all these people? They were medical students preparing for their end of year examinations.
They did not mind the mosquito bites neither did they care much about their meals. Many people prepare their meals. Many people prepare so much for temporary earthly events such as winning a championship, wedding, celebrating an anniver-sary or a birthday, yet very few people prepare for eternity. I learnt that people save money for a long time to travel on first class in a prestigious airline, yet we do not prepare our souls to meet God in the longest journey ever – ETERNITY.
This world and all its attrac-tions will pass away. It’s inevitable! Everyone will one day leave this earth to meet the Creator. It will be the most inevitable DEPAR-TURE! Unfortunately, millions are not prepared to meet the Lord. Now that you are still alive, why not surrender your life to Jesus Christ and dedicate your life afresh today? Drop that sin before it spells peril for you. One day, you will meet Him face to face. It’s time you get prepared. The greatest joy on earth is the hope of heaven! What we do here, determines where we go hereafter. Change your focus! Focus on heaven but be mindful of this earth! Forgive people! Be moderate in all you do!
