TOPIC: THE KREMLIN VS DONALD TRUMP: AVOID DISTRACTIONS!

There was a G20 meeting in Osaka Japan in 2019 called the G20 Osaka Summit 2019. The meeting had in attendance world leaders who make up the G20 group, a group of 20 nations which comprises 19 countries and the European Union. During the 2019 Summit, former American President, Donald Trump, and the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, attended a bilateral meeting. Both presidents needed translators because of the language barrier. The translator on the Russian side was a very beautiful lady.

She was described as a “very attractive brunette woman with long hair, a pretty face and a wonderful figure.” Ummh! Footage from the meeting showed a woman with dark hair translating Putin’s comments into English as Trump watched. After the meeting and after about two years, a lady who was the former White House Press Secretary claimed that: Putin deliberately brought the attractive translator to the 2019 meeting to distract the American president. Present in the room during the meeting was a White House expert on Russia. The expert also believed that the lady had been deliberately hired to distract Trump because she was very attractive.

As expected, The Kremlin (Russia’s seat of power) denied the allegation. Be that as it may, and in this year 2023, there is an important lesson to take from here – The enemy knows your weaknesses; he will always capitalize on them to mislead you from focusing on your agenda in life, family and ministry or anything you set out to do. This is where distraction comes in because DISTRACTION IS A WEAPON OF WAR! Today’s scripture urges you to identify the sin that easily besets you. The LORD Jesus was distracted by suffering and pain, but HE OVERCAME and fulfilled His death on the cross (also today’s scripture). Biblical Samson of old did not achieve all that God set before him because Delilah distracted him! Avoid distractions and stay focused this year!
