Our Daily Manna 3 December 2022 – SCATTERED FOR A PURPOSE!
TOPIC: SCATTERED FOR A PURPOSE!
Vs. 1 of today’s scripture says: “And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.” Oh, this must be BAD NEWS to any man or woman!
The words: GREAT PERSECUTION and ALL SCATTERED is not sweet music to the ears! But why did God allow that GREAT PERSECUTION and why would God allow the enemy to SCATTER His people? Vs. 4 has the answer – “Therefore they that were scattered abroad went everywhere preaching the word.” The SCATTERING was for the gospel to EXPLODE EVERYWHERE instead of their COMFORTABLE Jerusalem alone!
They went EVERYWHERE! Wow! God took them BY FORCE, from their COMFORT ZONES to enable them EXPAND, ENLARGE and EXPLODE! Yea! Each time God wants to INCREASE YOU, He would allow your comfort zone to be shakened! Oh, stop crying! God has a plan! Hear William Samuel Johnson: “He knows not his own strength who hath not met adversity.” Never forget this old Chinese nugget: “The gem cannot be polished without friction, nor man perfected without trials.” Close with William Hazlitt: “Prosperity is a great teacher; adversity is a greater. Possession pampers the mind; privation trains and strengthens it.” Wow! So as you run your daily race with God, NEVER GIVE UP! When everything around you looks shaky and when PRESSURE comes on you, never forget that God has a BIGGER PLAN and SECRET PURPOSE! Hold on and hold out! Pray seriously now!

Help me to trust You even when my faith is wavering! 7. Scatter every plan to send DEPRESSION and self –pity to consume you! 8. Pray about today and about any other issue(s) affecting your peace!
