TOPIC: WORRYING IS LIKE A ROCKING CHAIR!
When you put your trust in God, what do you stand to lose? This was the question that the Spirit of God asked me early one morning as I woke up. I thought about it and I came to one answer: NOTHING! You can only lose something if God has a record of failure. But, guess what? HE HAS NEVER FAILED. YOUR CASE CANNOT BE AN IMPOSSIBLE ONE IN HIS HANDS.
WHAT GOD CANNOT DO HAS NOT BEEN CREATED! That’s why NO MATTER HOW 2022 HAS BEEN, JEHOVAH GOD is saying to you: TRUST ME! He who trusts God has nothing to worry about, hence Paul’s instruction in today’s scripture Vs. 6: “BE ANXIOUS FOR NOTHING.” Be anxious for nothing! Be worried about nothing! Note the word: NOTHING! NOTHING! NOTHING! Yes!BE ANXIOUS FOR NOTHING BECAUSE EVERYTHING IS UNDER HIS CONTROL!
No wonder Glenn Turner said, “Worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do, but it gets you nowhere.” There is a place of greatness and celebration that God has destined for you and worrying will not take you there. The only thing capable of taking you there safely is TRUST. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
Let that verse become your watchword as 2022 ends! WHY WORRY WHEN YOU CAN PRAY? YOU STAND NOTHING TO LOSE BY PRAYING and TRUSTING JEHOVAH GOD. Hear Jim Rohn: “Happiness is not something you postpone for the future; it is something you design for the present.” So as 2022 ends, just trust God! Pray and commit that issue into His able hands. He Has Never Failed, And He Will Not Start Failing From Your Case! Hold on to Him and shame will never be your last address! Pray seriously now!
