It was D.L. Moody, in the booklet, “Secret Power” who wrote: “Before we pray that God would fill us, I believe we ought to pray Him to empty us.” Wow! One of the ways God EMPTIES us is by EMPTYING US OF OUR EGO! He could use people to hurt us, etc. And in this year 2022, if you want to see more of God’s MERCY and POWER, release more people by LETTING GO and LETTING GOD take over that hurt/cheating/false accusation, etc! Even the worst war comes to an end! I love Paul Boose: “Forgiveness does not change the past, but it does enlarge the future.” If you want your future ENLARGED, then painfully forgive! A funny saying by Ivern Ball goes thus: “Most of us can forgive and forget; we just don’t want the other person to forget that we forgave.” Yes! EGO-in-action!

Can you as a pastor pray for the church on the same street as your place of worship? Today’s scripture says in Vs. 18: “Joshua made war a long time with all those kings.” Yes! It was a LONG WAR OF BLOODSHED, HATRED, MALICE, BITTERNESS, DIVORCE/MARITAL ANGER, CAREER BITTERNESS, etc, but see Vs. 23: “So Joshua took the whole land, according to all that the LORD said unto Moses; and…And the land rested from war.” Wow! Every war must have an end! Let that bitterness end today and let rest take over! Always remember: “Faith makes all things possible …love makes all things easy” (D.L. Moody). Let go and let God! 6. I shall not give the accuser of the brethren (SATAN) to accuse me due to unforgiveness or bitterness. I release all who have hurt me and I know that the law of KARMA (sowing and reaping) shall work! I let go and let God!

7. Pray about today as led.
