TOPIC: THEY BROKE THE ROOF! LORD, TAKE ME FROM THE QUEUE OF LIFE – 1

It was Kyle Chandler who penned: “Sometimes, opportunity does not knock. It presents itself when you beat down the door.” Indeed, life is either a daring adventure or nothing. That was what the men who broke the roof in today’s scripture did!

They took life as a daring adventure! If your ship doesn’t come into the habour, swim out to it. Don’t forget that it is the violent that take it by force (Matthew 11: 12).

Today’s 1st scripture says in Vs. 4 – “And when they could not come nigh unto Him for the press, they uncovered the roof where He was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.” Vs. 5 says: “When Jesus saw their faith, He said unto the sick of the palsy, ‘Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.” Note: “when they had broken it up.” Be determined about LIFE! NEVER TAKE a “NO” for an answer!

Tommy Lasorda noted: “The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in a person’s determination.” BE RUGGED AND DETERMINED! REFUSE TO QUIT NO MATTER THE OPPOSITION or DELAY! Run if you must run, walk if you walk, crawl if you must crawl, but NEVER ever give up because IT IS THE VIOLENT THAT WINS THE RACE!BREAK THE ROOF and the MASTER will see your faith! Ah!
