Our Daily Manna for Today 12 February 2022 Saturday
A young man was coming out of church one day and the preacher was standing at the door as he always did to shake hands. He grabbed the young man by the hand and pulled him aside. The pastor said to him, “You need to join the army of the Lord.” “The young man replied, “I’m already in the army of the Lord, pastor.” So the pastor questioned, “Then how come I don’t see you except at Christmas and Easter?” The man whispered back. “I’m in the secret service.” Then, it sounded like a joke, but it’s the picture and description of the lifestyle of lots of believers in the end time army of Jehovah God. They are in the SECRET SERVICE BATTALION! As you know, there are soldiers or security personnel in every country of the world that are not publicly acknowledged. Nigeria, my beloved country, for example has the SSS (State Security Service), DSS – (Directorate of State Security), while the USA have the CIA (Central Investigative Agency), Israel has the dreaded MOSSAD secret service. Most times, they are always
in mufti (ordiary civilian clothes) and you can hardly recognise them in any public function. Many believers are secretive about their faith because of their shameful lifestyles. They are in the ‘secret service’ in their offices or neighbourhood; likewise, Nicodemus was a secret disciple. He had to come to Jesus by night. In a lighter mood, maybe he was in the secret service! Oh, in this year 2022, determine to live a life that gives you boldness wherever you are. Remember that: The Enemy Of Your Soul Can Accuse You And Postpone Your DIVINE SURPRISE HOUR If Your Life Is Soaked In A Secret Lifestyle Of Sin! No wonder someone asked, “If you were to be arrested and convicted for being a Christian, will there be enough evidence to convict you in a court of law?” In 2022, let your life be a light upon a hill and never forget that, if we take care of our character, our reputation will take care of itself! 1. Thank God for the gift of life! Pray about today’s word.
2. Repent from living any kind of double life if any.
3. Pray seriously about any habit or lifestyle that provokes or can provoke public shame in your life/ministry.
4. You accuser of my destiny; I release SHAME to your camp by the BLOOD OF JESUS today (Pray it well).
5. Pray about today and dedicate your life to your God again.
