I AM STUBBORN TO QUITTING! MY NAME IS DETERMINATION THIS YEAR!

BASIC SCRIPTURE:
LUKE 18: 1-9 (KJV)

1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

² Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:

³ And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.

⁴ And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;

⁵ Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.

⁶ And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.

⁷ And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?

⁸ I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

⁹ And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:

Our Odm For Today 22 January 2022 Message

Welcome to another day in this worldwide fasting programme! The word “ determination” means different things to different people at different stages of life. IF YOU ARE TO GO FAR IN LIFE AND MINISTRY, YOU MUST GROW YOUR DETERMINATION ANTENNAE. AND BE A PERSON THAT THE WORLD DESCRIBES AS HAVING A BULLDOG- NO- NONSENSE – NEVER- QUITTING FAITH! LET THEM CALL YOU A “HOLD ON AND HOLD OUT “ PERSON! Today’s scripture talks about how a widow went before a judge who didn’t fear God or man . she pleaded with the judge to right a wrong done to her by her adversary.

She continually pleaded with him to do so, after a while, he “surrendered” and even though he didn’t fear God or man , he avenged her wrongdoing. She was determined! REFUSE TO GIVE UP in this fasting programme or in the JULY fasting programme! Be like this woman! Paul was imprisoned repeatedly; flogged, exposed to death again and again , received 39 lashed five times, beaten with rods three times , pelted with stones, shipwrecked three times etc and YET HE REFUSE TO DISTRUST HIS GOD ! you must hold on because in the DIVINE SURPRISE UNIVERSITY, you don’t know when your CHANCELLOR (your God) will show up! A Japanese proverb says “ fall seven times, stand up eight,” ALWAYS REMEMBER thatthe greatest oak was once a little nut whoheld its ground. Vince Lombardi once said “There’s only one way to succed. In anything, and that is to give it everything.” hear Henry Wadsworth Longfellow; “ if you would hit the mark, you must aim a little above it;every arrow that flies feels the attraction of earth.”wow! No matter the matter, be like a bulldog! Hold on! Hold out!
